Travelling to Broadhurst Park by Bicycle

FC United is keen to encourage cycle travel to Broadhurst Park. There are 80 bicycle stands at Broadhurst Park available on a first-come first-served basis.

You can plan your cycle trip in Manchester using the Cycle Streets website.

A map of traffic-free and traffic-frendly cycle routes around Broadhurst Park can be found on the Sustrans website.

Route 66

ROUTE

66

National Route 66 of the National Cycle Network runs from central Manchester to Spurn Head in the East Riding of Yorkshire via the Rochdale Canal tow path.

Join Route 66 on Redhill Street off Great Ancoats St. Cycle along the Rochdale Canal Towpath for 2.5 miles, climbing 138 feet which should take about 14 minutes until you reach Old Church St.

Turning left on to Old Church Street, across Oldham Road and on to Dean Lane. Old Church Street and Dean Lane are "cycle friendly roads". Dean Lane continues into St. Marys Rd and Broadhurst Park is another 5 mins ride.

Bicycles & Metrolink

There are a number of cycle stands (cycle lockers) available at Metrolink stations on this line. Duration in minutes.
